Pharma trap is one of a type of thermostatic steam trap, which works on the principle of temperature difference between steam & condensate. This trap consists of a temperature sensitive thermostatic element which expand when heated & contracts on cooling. These traps are used on steam main lines as drip traps, process line traps, sterilization in place & clean in place applications.
